Service Description

My workshop is open to everyone, regardless of your painting skills and or level of Aboriginal Culture. *Contact me to book* Things to know My lessons are very organic encompassing history, what is cultural appropriation and why it’s inappropriate, how to source from an original Indigenous Artists, Barriers and why they are still apparent in today's society & how we can break them down and during this conversation I will teach you the common symbols of our culture and then how to paint your very own story, whilst I showcase the power of Aboriginal Art * The lessons run for 1hr 30min. * Wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on (literally all of my clothes have paint on them lol) * Fun introduction to Aboriginal culture and beliefs from where I come from. * Learn about ancient symbols * Learn some introductory Yawuru words (Yawuru is a local language to Broome) * Take home an amazing dot painting of your own story * Please note: Bookings require a minimum of 5 people to confirm
